News from SHRM
We are now in the process of renewing for the 2010 – 2011 program year and look forward to seeing you. We have many new and exciting events this year as well as a new website which will be launched by the end of August!
The new website will allow for online membership renewal, event registration, and up to date Chapter information as well as a members only section!

For the New Year we have planned both lunch and breakfast meetings as well as some member only events. Our meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of the month.

The Delaware County Human Resources Association, an Affiliate of SHRM, provides the opportunity to gain valuable HR knowledge through presentations by experts in the field. Group members also have the opportunity to network with other professionals in the Delaware County PA area.
DCHRA is a 100% SHRM chapter so all members must also be members of SHRM national. Members come from organizations of various sizes and industries in Delaware and surrounding counties in PA.
The chapter provides a local forum for members’ personal and professional development, a networking arena, and a focus for legislative attention to local, state, and national human resource management issues.
DCHRA holds monthly meetings the first Tuesday of every month at the Cardinal Clubhouse at Maris Grove in Glen Mills, PA and speakers at these meetings will be discussing a variety of HR topics and many will have HRCI certified credits.
Villanova University will offer the Global Professional in Human Resources certificate beginning Monday, September 20 for 10 weeks at the Hampton Inn, State Farm Road in Concordville.
